fmk341, When 3NUNS said "artistic accuracy", he may have had a distinction in mind, say as opposed to a given level of "technical accuracy". I think he deserves a chance to clarify his statement.
To me there would be a clear distinction. However I am not quite sure what he means by "artistic accuracy". The mere existence of such a notion, I would imagine, could be debated endlessly to no avail.

I disagree. I don't think artistic 'accuracy' is really the point. Landowska's playing is beautiful and very powerful to listen to. However, i don't think that she is trying to be 'accurate', because this would be misguided; whether notes are written down on paper or not, music is lost as soon as it is played.
