skittlesbear ::: Favorites What a beautiful grey! He seems very happy. 07-08-07 01:29:40 __________________________________________________
Wizard298 ::: Favorites You have to earn it's trust! Mine did the same thing; she would not let me touch her in certain areas other than her head. Give her time and treat her well and spend lots of time with her she will come around. If you force her she will only get mad never force the bird to let you touch it; they do and WILL hold grudges; be patience and you will be rewarded with a very good companion! 07-07-14 13:37:14 __________________________________________________
pboy7 ::: Favorites hey i just got an African recentally but it doesnt let me touch its head or touch it any where, it only comes on my hand and shoulder! what shall i do? 07-07-14 11:38:18 __________________________________________________
shnookey1979 ::: Favorites What age did it start trying to make sound effects. Talking? Mine is just a baby still. It has learned to mimic the wolf whistle. And is makinga weird noise..sounds likea duck. lol I think that is it's adolecent voice trying to come out. hah 07-06-13 12:42:09 __________________________________________________
shnookey1979 ::: Favorites That is sooo weird. I had a Crow named RAven...and same thing happened to it. Got shot by nighbors cause it would sit on thier fence.... so sad. I heard the gun shot that morning. WOke me up. 07-06-13 12:39:54 __________________________________________________
luccaskunk ::: Favorites I used to have a raven named Crow when I was a kid. It seemed to be able to put together entires sentences on its own. Eventually he found out what a crow was and protested about his name. They're a bit more difficult to take care of than those in the parrot family though. Poor Crow was shot by a neighbor who thought he was extremely annoying. Crow would sit on the fence and mock him. We never could afford to video tape him though because camcorders were expensive back in the 80s :( 07-06-11 17:02:33 __________________________________________________
Wizard298 ::: Favorites I know exactly what you feel like! When I was about 16 I took my dog into get her shots and seen a guy have a B & G macaw; I wanted one since then but my boyfriend refused because of how loud they are, so I settled with a Grey :). They sure are a commintment; but if you love them like a family member it won't seem that way at all. I hope you have wonderful years to come with your grey! Show me your new grey sometime :) 07-06-04 22:51:45 __________________________________________________
