Spongebob1000 ::: Favorites Gernot, how do you know about that Japanese Sailor in this cartoon. 07-10-05 21:39:03 __________________________________________________
Lehnerd57 ::: Favorites Where the one where he fights fighter planes n sends back to ship n end has to sink a big warship with his fist! 07-09-22 19:32:02 __________________________________________________
SimuRei ::: Favorites Popeye just beat up a SUBMARINE with his bare hands. Thats awesome in its purest form. 07-09-06 09:25:31 __________________________________________________
mishko4312 ::: Favorites i have his cartoon B&W and censored i will get it on Dvd uncensored 07-08-26 13:01:08 __________________________________________________
jerryaltman ::: Favorites Well, when the b7W cartoon was made with several graytones, looking a normal contrast, it was colorized byu competer. The cartoons in B&W made with most very dark or very bright tones, was colorized by redrawing. The projected a print over a drawing table and drawing the countorns for the animation cell following the projected image. 07-07-31 14:03:47 __________________________________________________
Raghav91 ::: Favorites the colorized are also good.. but the B&W and color vids look the exactly the same. The drawings are the same. how would they do it? 07-07-31 13:02:42 __________________________________________________
kungfu2u2 ::: Favorites Yes, I noticed that too-- it seems that the Japanese Captain was CENSORED by the politically correct assholes who butchered this! 07-07-04 04:39:47 __________________________________________________
Wilmar550 ::: Favorites en los doblajes al español de esta temporada de Popeye todas aparecen a color 07-06-26 22:06:11 __________________________________________________
1947Desoto ::: Favorites Hopefully, the new popeye DVD will have "Blunder Below" with the Japanese Sailor. This particular cartoon is one of my favorites, as it shows patriotism and comedy on a battleship, like "The Mighty Navy" and "Fleets of Stren'th" 07-06-09 14:02:15 __________________________________________________
Gernot ::: Favorites Also, there was a scene omitted from the cartoon! When Popeye threw the torpedoes back at the sub, and it dodged them at first, a Japanese sailor would poke his head out and yell "So sorry!" That's what made Popeye's final line in the cartoon so funny originally. :) 07-06-09 01:07:53 __________________________________________________ |
