Description: This is the last of the Rankin & Bass holiday specials ever produced, and one of the most bizarre telling of the story of Santa Claus. It's actually from a book of the same name written by the guy who wrote the Wizard of Oz. You won't find any references to God or Jesus in this tale. Instead you have the great god Ak, and his fairies and the immortal elders who over see earth. And there is a battle to the death! It doesn't get played to often anymore and hasn't been officially released on DVD yet. But I have a copy. If you want one, let me know.
