Description: As you know, I've uploaded several songs from the September 11, 1982 TV special "Texaco Star Theater: Opening Night," a 90 minute variety special saluting American musical theater that broadcast on NBC. Some have been silly, some have been great. This falls in between. Pam Dawber ("Mork and Mindy") and John Schneider ("Dukes of Hazzard" and "Smallville") team up to do a medley of songs from Rodgers and Hamerstein's classic hit "Oklahoma!" And they do it pretty well, which is not too surprising since she was a replacement Mabel in Joe Papp's "Pirates of Penzance" and he was a replacement Baron in "Grand Hotel" on Broadway. Plus he looks damn fine in chaps.
